Georgetown is a multi-instrumental Blue Billy Folk Pop band from Pretoria, South Africa. Formed in February 2014, the talented Michael de Villiers, Renaldo van Dyk, Rynier Prins and Tiaan Erasmus, have told their stories and shared their rhythms across mainstages, theatres and towns. They bring audiences together with the use of a variety of musical instruments during their performances, including acoustic guitar, piano, upright bass, mandolin, harmonica, clarinet, saxophone, a washboard and a 1935 suitcase, promising a distinctive and creative sound to contemporary & original folk music.

Rubber Duc burst onto the SA music scene in March 2014 when their first single hit the number 2 spot on the 5FM and ECR charts! “AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT” was inspired by the YouTube clip of Sweet Brown that went viral worldwide. The song is a satirical look at living in South Africa today and a humorous take on current issues… All the stuff we simply don’t have time for! The original trio of Nick Jordaan (Lead vocals, acoustic guitar, hi-hat), Brendan Campbell (Lead guitar, kick drum, backing vocals) and Sheldon Sham (Saxophone, crash, tambourine, backing vocals) rapidly grew in popularity and four more singles followed.

The Pebble Shakers is a Cape Town-based group of jazz musicians specializing in swing-era tunes that will have your feet tapping and your booty shaking like it’s 1937! To celebrate the history of swing in South Africa, the band also plays a selection of swinging South African tunes that haven’t been played live in over 70 years.
