Noko Moswete, 31, from Limpopo, TuT Language Practice degree, comedy came easily. She loved making people laugh with her fantastic stories and jokes since elementary school. Last May, she met Pretoria’s Comedy Society, which launched her career. She performed open spots at several gigs with the group and rose steadily.
Within months, Noko received rave reviews from the crowd and media, making her a popular MC at weddings, corporate events, and social parties.
She has appeared in most Gauteng and Limpopo comedy clubs and theatres and performed with Mashabela Galane, Pule, Kagiso Lediga, Roni Modimola, and Kedibone Mulaudzi. Her performances at Satma 2014 and Tshwane’s Finest Comedy Festival were highlights.
Noko always innovates to keep her audience laughing and wanting more.
Noko, who started comedy last year, was nominated for the Savanna Comic Choice Awards, making her one of the top five new comedians in the country as voted by fellow comedians!
