Alfred Julian Adriaan is a young comedian flying up the ranks in the SA comedy scene with two consecutive South African comics’ choice nominations under his belt in the best New Comedian & best Intermediate comedian categories
His comedy is based on his life growing up in the rural EC (HE is from a town called Hankey, NO really) with hilarious stories that range from Public School education to his complicated relationships with the fairer sex.
Alfred is also one half of the infamous comedy duo The Wiggles and is the current holder of the SA Comedy Championship title. I have been nominated twice for the SA Comedy Awards Best New Comedian and Best Intermediate Comedian and I am now a semi-finalist in the SA Comedy Awards in the category of Best Stand Up Comic. I was invited to perform in front of a live audience at the SA Comedy Awards which was a great experience!” Alfred Julian Adriaan has made his first appearance on the international stage at the prestigious Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2015.
Alfred Julian Adriaan is a talented comedian who works tirelessly in the stand-up comedy scene. He performs regularly and has won numerous awards for his talent. He is very versatile and his jokes cover topics from being a teacher, to dating. He can also do impressions of famous people such as Alan Carr, Donald Trump and Justin Bieber.
He has performed at various events including the South African Comedy Awards, a few international festivals and the annual Comedy Festival in Durban. His performances have been well received and he is a favourite amongst comedians.
