The 2012 Soweto Comedy Festival as one of Nubreed Comedy’s Young Gunz helped Skhumba ascend to fame. His spectacular performances propelled him to comic stardom.

Skhumba expanded his views and pushed boundaries after his breakthrough. In 2017, he hosted SABC1’s Throwback Thursday, a satirical conversation programme about social media’s biggest topics. Fans loved his quick wit and charming humour, establishing his comedic dominance.
