He is well known for creating that special vibe on the dance floor with is mix of Global Music made of all the best tunes of today, some oldies but goodies and a touch of great Afro / Latino. René is a pioneer in mixing DJ music with live musicians. As a musician himself – drums & other percussion instruments – René has played many times with prominent local musicians including Robbie Jensen, MoreiraChonguica and Buddy Wells on saxophone, Daren English and Lee Thomson on trumpet, Simric Yarrow on Trombone Frank Paco and John Hassan on percussion and Alou April on guitar
