DJ Fresh, better known by his stage name, is a renowned DJ, producer, and entrepreneur based in Johannesburg, South Africa. With a career spanning decade, DJ Fresh has made a significant impact on the music industry, particularly through his iconic “Fresh House Flava” series in the 1990s, which cemented his status as a pioneer in South African house music.

Starting his radio career at YFM, DJ Fresh spent eight years there before moving to 5FM’s popular “Drive Time” slot, and later to Metro FM, where his “Fresh Breakfast Show” became a fan favourite.

In 2022, he launched Domboshaba Records with Zimbabwean producer Shona SA, and together they released the album The Beginning. His latest project, Voices of Hope 2 (2023), features collaborations with top artists like Shona SA, Gouveia, and Bongiwe Indlovukazi.
