Kim Cloete is a well renowned, multi nominated and accomplished actress and
businesswoman. She started her career in 2001 and has occupied the South African entertainment industry as a freelancer, successfully for over 24 years.
She is best known as Jacqui on 7de Laan; Bianca on Isidingo and Bronwyn on Binnelanders. Kim made her TV debut on the children’s programme “Craz-e”, which led to presenting roles on “DKNT”, “Zing”, and “Ontbytsake” on kykNET; and “Lunchbox”, “Pasella”, “Kollig” for the SABC, Verander dinge with Ruda Landman, etc
She was the face and voice of Outsurance for over 4 years and was the lead in the entire soccer world cup 2010 ad campaign for Outsurance on Supersport
She is an experienced TV-, film-, and stage actress, and her one-woman play on human trafficking at the 2012 Suidoosterfees, “Leeg”, garnered her a Kanna nomination for best actress. She recently performed and was nominated for best actress for a Naledi award in an Adam Small play “Joanie Galant-hulle” , which was staged at the Market Theatre. She is hs also been the recipient of many other nominations, including Saftas, over the past 24 years
